1. Disclaimer
Registrum is record-keeping and business management software. We are not a registered tax or BAS agent under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (Cth).
Information generated by the platform — including BAS, IAS, payroll summaries, single touch payroll (STP) submissions, financial statements and other reports — is produced from the data you enter and does not constitute tax, legal or financial advice.
Before lodging any return with the ATO, or relying on figures for compliance, borrowing, audit or any other purpose, you must consult a qualified accountant, registered tax agent or BAS agent. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the data entered and the obligations arising from it.
2. Copyright & Intellectual Property
© 2024–2026 Registrum Pty Ltd. All rights reserved.
The Registrum platform, including all source code, designs, copy, logos, templates and underlying methodologies, is protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and international copyright treaties including the Berne Convention.
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, public display, modification, scraping or reverse engineering of any part of the platform is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal liability under Australian and international law.
3. Data Protection
Financial data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and is handled in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Employee and payroll records are retained for 7 years (Fair Work Act 2009). Tax records generally are retained for a minimum of 5 years (Taxation Administration Act 1953 s262A). The longer period governs payroll. This means you can produce supporting documentation for any audit or review. For a full breakdown of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
Bank feed data is retrieved via Basiq Pty Ltd, an ACCC-accredited open banking provider under Australia's Consumer Data Right (CDR) framework. Bank transaction data is stored by Basiq in AWS data centres in Sydney and Melbourne and does not leave Australia. CDR consent is valid for 12 months and can be withdrawn at any time from Banking → Bank Feeds.
